I’ve been taking my 2 dogs to Stuart at both vet hub and Warrandyte vet for 14 years now and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Stuart and staff are very caring and really take the time to look after our fur babies Natasha Knight2025-12-07Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had two pups go in for some treatment and a couple of hours stay. Vets and staff were kind, considerate, and very caring of both the dogs and us. They didnt rush us out the door like other clinics, and gave us plenty of info for related things. They even called a couple days later to follow up and check in to see how the pets were tracking! Thanks for being so genuine, caring and friendly! Always available and never too busy to help or answer questions. Thanks guys! ☺️ for remembering what its all about. 🤩 Luis Rivero2025-10-31Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Fantastic service, the staff are friendly and attentive, we'll be happy to visit you next time. Kathryn Graham2025-09-16Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The team here always provides exceptional care and genuine attention, regularly squeezing us in for emergencies with our senior dog. On two occasions they’ve even kept him for the day for us at no notice to monitor and stabilise him, sparing us costly emergency vet fees. They take time to update us regularly, explain everything clearly and make sure our pet feels truly cared for. Unlike some other clinics, it never feels rushed or transactional. We’re so grateful to have found this vet clinic to care for our much-loved fur-baby and help us navigate his many health concerns. Dr Stuart and the girls at Ringwood Vet hub go above and beyond. My puppy means the world to me, and they all made me feel comfortable leaving her with them to have a small surgery. The follow up phone call and check in the next day cemented that I had chosen a quality vet to look after my girl. I highly recommend them. Dr Stuart, Janet and Michelle have my vote! FAQs
How often should I take my dog to the vet?
A checkup every 6-12 months is recommended, including an annual visit for vaccinations! Puppies, seniors, and dogs with health conditions may need more frequent visits.
What do I do if my dog is afraid of the vet?
Unfortunately, for some dogs, a trip to the vet can be a scary event. At Vet Hub, we do everything we can to ensure your pet’s visit is a pleasant one, but for some dogs, medication may be required prior to their visit to help with their anxiety. Call us to discuss options for your canine companion.
Why is my dog scooting?
Adult dogs most commonly scoot to relieve the pressure or pain associated with their anal glands being full or inflamed. If you see your dog scooting please book an appointment for an anal gland expression. Anal glands may become infected or develop an abscess if not expressed when full. Dogs may also lick or chew on their back paws when their anal glands are feeling uncomfortable.
In young dogs, scooting may be associated with the presence of intestinal worms irritating the anus. Ensure your pup has had an intestinal worming treatment, and speak to the team about how often treatment is recommended.
Does my dog need dental care?
Good dental health is extremely important in our pets. Just like us, dogs can accumulate food particles on their teeth, leading to plaque build-up and eventually damaging tartar or calculus, which causes gum recession and the loss of teeth.
Speak to our team about a personalised plan for your pet to help keep their teeth clean and healthy.
What age should I get my dog desexed?
The best time to desex your dog can vary depending on their breed and current health. Chat to our friendly Vet Hub team during your check-up to find out what’s right for your pet!
